Paper makers not happy with DEPB rates

PAPER manufacturers are aggrieved over the steep decrease in the duty entitlement passbook (DEPB) credit rates for their products in the Exim Policy. 

At an interactive session organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a representative of a paper company said the DEPB rate had been brought down from 7 per cent to 3 per cent of the f.o.b. value.
