APCCI chief lauds deregulation

The President of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mr S. Thirumalai, has welcomed the Union Government's policy towards deregulation with focus on reduction in transaction time and cost for exports. 

In a statement he said the policy presents distinct opportunities particularly in the context of agro-processing for which the State had set up an SEZ in Chittoor. The proposal to neutralise fuel cost and transport subsidy and freeing of exports from quotas would benefit such units.
