On 13th November'2003 Hon'ble Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta of the Calcutta High Court, has vacated the earlier interim injuction restraining the Central Government from issuing any Notification under the National Tax Tribunal Ordinance,2003 . The Court has allowed two weeks time to Addl. Solicitor General to submit affidavit and thereafter  one weeks time for reply. The hearing will be expedited.  

Kolkata Nov. 13. The Orissa High Court has also stayed for 2 weeks the issue of notification u/s 3 of the National Tax Tribunal Ordinance, 2003, in pursuance of  a Writ filed by the All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (AIFTP) and after listening to the submissions made on its behalf by Dr. Debi Prosad Pal, Sr. Counsel on Wednesday.

This was also informed to Calcutta High Court by Dr. Pal to-day. It may be noted that the Calcutta High Court had also granted stay on issue of notification, which was allowed on Tuesday to continue till further orders.
